About Aishwarya

Aishwarya Iyer is a Bangalore-based travel photographer and writer whose work centres on the Western Ghats, Nilgiris and lesser-photographed hill towns of South India. Over the last several years she has contributed images and essays to NatGeo Traveller India and Conde Nast Traveller India, and writes a recurring column on small-town hill stations for LBB. She studied design before turning to photography full-time, and now splits her year between assignments in Coorg, Munnar and the Eastern Himalayas. Aishwarya is particularly drawn to monsoon light, tea estate communities and the quiet rituals of homestay kitchens. She also runs occasional photo walks for early-career creators visiting Bangalore.
